Coat-of-Arms

Dad spent a lot of time creating the family arms, advised by John George, Kintyre Pursuivant at the Court of The Lord Lyon. It was a coincidence that Mr George was thus named [on two counts], but the connection was  further strengthened when I discovered that he lived only a street away from Gill and I, when we lived in Saxe-Coburg Place.
This illustration [below] is Dad's drawing of the blazon, to which I have added some colour.
In due course I hope to add some explanation of Dad's choices of devices when creating the arms from the notes he made at the time.
